Objectivity

  1. To understand the fundamental of measurement and control instrumentation and controls used in the industryThe participants will gain basic knowledge on the technical terms and Symbols ( ISA Symbols ) That used in Process and Instrumentation Diagram ( P&ID ), Measurement and control system which can be used for in-depth studying in the future
  2. To understand the principles and applications of instrumentation such as  Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow Water analyzer and Gas analyzer, Control Valve . Which are equipment for the Manufacturing process.
  3. The participants will gain knowledge and understanding of both theoretical and practical. By setting up  parameters of measurement instrument  before implementing it to the manufacturing process. Furthermore, the course will also cover the PID Tuning on Simulator Software and actual PID Tuning in Process Plant Model.

2nd
  • Flow Measurement and Application
  • Liquid & Gas Analyzer Measurement and Application
  • Control valve
  • Laboratory work : 5 labs
    • Flow , pH analyzer , Conductivity analyzer and Control valve
    • Parameter Setting and Calibration for Analyzer

3rd
  • Distributed Control System (DCS)
    • Hardware Configuration System and Control Concept
    • Software Configuration and Application
  • Mode of Control and Controller Tuning
  • Laboratory work : 9 labs
    • Operation Exercise on Standard Display Windows of DCS
